Ching Shi

Ching achieved her master’s degree in Applied Social Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London in the UK.  She researched Child Psychology and Positive Psychology which has helped her developed a passion for pursuing early years education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Finance from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in the United States. Her exceptional experience of studying in multiple countries has provided her with unique abilities to understand children with different cultural backgrounds. She has deep respect for every child and is aware that they are unique and have diverse learning needs, which is what makes her role challenging and yet inspiring.   Ching enjoys gardening, traveling and yoga. She is also passionate about being a volunteer and, helping children in her spare time. While she was in the US, she volunteered at the local Boys and Girls Club that assisted with organizing activities for children. In 2017, she went to Romania to teach English and take care of children who had been orphaned. Furthermore, Ching is also a volunteer for a Parent-Child Education Program in Qingbo Community in Hangzhou.
