Kira got her Master’s degree in Music Education from Crane School of Music at the State University of New York. She also achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Hangzhou Normal University. Kira focused on the project ‘Artistic Process’ and the 21st century music technology during her graduating years. Kira believes the purpose of education is guiding students to find their interest and inspiring them to become an independent individual within society.
Kira enjoys communicating with children in the classroom. She takes immense pride in supporting students to explore and gain new knowledge. Before Kira began working at Huili Nursery Hangzhou, she taught Guzheng, a traditional Chinese instrument for a year. She has also been a part-time teacher for more than 4 years throughout her undergraduate education. This was a precious experience for her project learning through her educational career. In her spare time, Kira loves traveling around the world, cooking cuisine from various culture, as well as exploring new technology or mediums such as; using music technology on websites or trying technological devices.
