Stephanie Gall

Stephanie has worked as an English teacher for almost 15 years now. In 2004 she completed her CELTA certification through IH Johannesburg in conjunction with the University of Cambridge, after which she went on to teach English to pupils from Hong Kong, China and the UAE. While teaching EAL, she completed a THRASS course through the University of Pretoria, which helped her further her love of teaching English.
In 2011 Stephanie took a break from teaching at English language schools abroad, and focused on her studies while teaching at government mainstream schools within South Africa. She completed a 4 year Bachelor of Arts at the University of South Africa, where she majored in English and linguistics. She continued on to study for her PGCE in English and Creative Arts also through the University of South Africa.
Her career has been geared toward the empowerment of individuals looking to learn how to speak, read and write in the English language. Throughout the course of her career, she has had wonderful opportunities to teach diverse groups of learners internationally and locally, and as a result, has become proficient at designing creative and stimulating lesson plans, which accommodate different types of learners from all over the world, bringing a hands-on approach to learning, and keeping learners interested and focused.
She also has had the opportunity to develop coursework books for various English Institutions. Stephanie has been involved in many school projects over the years, some of which include community outreach programs, reading and poetry clubs, debating and public speaking clubs, and stage productions. Many of her learners involved in various activities went on to produce A++ certificates in the festivals they attended.
