Aaron has taught full time for 2 Years in Kuwait, Middle East as a Design and Technology Teacher after completing a 4 Year BSc (Hons) Product Design Degree and a 1 Year PGCE in Essex, England. Before beginning his PGCE, he was on a Train to Teach course in Essex, employed as an Unqualified Teacher for 18 Months.
During his short teaching career, Aaron has taught a range of subjects within Art and Design: Art, Electronics, Graphics, Resistant Materials, Product Design, Textiles, Embedded Intelligence and Systems & Control. This has allowed him to develop his teaching in various disciplines.
As a newly qualified teacher, Aaron has helped with updating curriculum projects and introducing new projects in both his previous schoolsincluding Electronic Phone Stands & Picture Frames, 3D Printed Phone Accessories, Graphical Projects and Initiative Design for Sound Docks.
In Aaron’s spare time he follows a range of sport, participating in golf and football. He is hoping to get involved with golf in China and hopes to be able to help student golfers develop their own ability, having played at county and national level. He is also looking at getting involved with national competitions for Design and Technology to develop the involvement/participation in the subject and look at advancing technologies.
Aaron is excited to start a new adventure at Wellington College Hangzhou and hopes to bring his passion for Design and Technology to the school with imaginative and innovative projects to get all students involved and enthusiastic about the subject. Moving to China is a fantastic opportunity for Aaron and he cannot wait to experience the culture and get involved with the local communities.
