I have been teaching for 13 years now. After completing my degree in Computing, I then trained for my PGCE in the UK. Straight after graduating, I taught at a secondary school in Sheffield for a number of years. In 2013, I decided to teach internationally which took both myself and my family to Qatar, in the Middle East. For the next couple of years, I taught at the Secondary level.
In September 2015, I decided to move from Qatar and take up a position at the Nord Anglia International School, Shanghai. The move came as no surprise because I always wanted to work in China. My first move in China was Shanghai where I worked as a teacher for Primary and Secondary for four years before heading to Hangzhou. The move to Wellington in Hangzhou has been really special.
I am a keen traveller as I have visited many countries in Europe and Asia. I enjoy following international cricket which is has been with me since childhood. One of the nice things about having travelled is the opportunity to have tasted great food and bring all the styles into my cooking.
