Jack Nolan

Jack completed a  4 year B.Ed. (Hons) in Sports Studies and Physical Education at University College Cork and, for the past 6 years, has since worked as a Physical Education teacher.

Throughout his teaching career, Jack has been fortunate to have gained valuable experiences in different school settings. Jack has worked as a Physical Education teacher in Ireland as well as in British schools in Spain, which have allowed him learn about and celebrate different cultures.

For the past 3 years Jack has been the Head of physical education at the British School of Navarra where he developed the school’s sports programme as well as teaching PE to students from 5 – 18 years old. Jack is looking forward to bringing his knowledge and expertise to Wellington at such an important time for the school.

Sport has played a significant part of Jack´s life and he places huge value on the importance of sport in developing the whole child. As a youngster Jack excelled at cross-country running and gaelic football before turning to rugby and football in his teenage years. Now Jack does road cycling, running, swimming and yoga on a regular basis and he hopes to complete his first sprint triathlon this year.
