Jasmine Zhang

Jasmine Zhang obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Hangzhou Normal University. Before joining Huili School, she was a volunteer Chinese teacher in Confucius Institute and taught in a middle school in America carrying out various language lessons and cultural activities for the whole school.
Jasmine has got a China’s Ministry of Education Qualification Certificate for High School Chinese Teachers, and a teaching license from Tennessee Department of Education, USA. Back in 2016, Jasmine got a TESOL certificate from the University of Queensland (Australia) and was trained to use English pedagogy in teaching. The same year, she won the First Prize in a National Contest of Teaching Skills for Teacher-College Students. She graduated with the first-class honor gaining National Scholarship, Government Scholarship.
As a Chinese teacher, Jasmine is very interested in reading masterpieces and literature creation. She is the author for two academic papers which both won the First Prize in the National Competition of Literature Review Paper and got published. She has exchanged to study in National Kaohsiung Normal University (Taiwan) and attended summer school in Peking University. Her diverse experience of learning and working has equipped her fully with fluency in English, insights into Chinese education and inspirations on liberal arts.
