Ross Burrows

Ross has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Waikato in New Zealand. He graduated in 2016, and lived and taught in England for two years. While he was there Ross taught a range of subjects and age groups including  teaching in a Nursery, Primary and High School. In 2019, Ross returned to New Zealand to teach 11 to 13-year-old students and see family and friends before leaving to live in Hangzhou.

Ross will be employed as a Cover Teacher for the Huili Nursery Hangzhou. As a teacher, he is committed to on-going learning and he is currently completing a Master of Education (Early Childhood) through the New Zealand Tertiary College in New Zealand. Ross believes a quality early childhood education is a pivotal step that helps a young child love learning, something that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Outside of school, Ross considers himself a competitive person and he enjoys sports. He is looking forward to being immersed in the Chinese culture and language hoping to eventually be able to read and write in Mandarin.

Ross is very grateful to be given the opportunity to be a part the team at Huili Nursery Hangzhou and a part of the Wellington Family.
