Sarah Peel is a Canadian early childhood music education specialist with a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Allison University and a Certificate in Teaching in Early Childhood Settings from the University of California Riverside. In 2006, she founded China’s first Kindermusik studio in Beijing, offering music and movement programmes for children, newborn to age seven, and their families. A lifelong musician, this opportunity to offer learning though music to young children quickly became her passion, and remains at the heart of her work.
Musically, Sarah is an experienced vocalist and expresses her love of music through singing with a band, playing hand percussion, practicing piano and teaching herself to play the guitar.
Sarah is a longtime advocate for the success of bilingual and multicultural children in schools. Her strong belief in bilingual education comes from her experiences as an adult learner of additional languages, and as the parent of a bilingual child.
